About the event

Fog Holler is a bluegrass band with an edge. What gives them that edge is a topic of hot debate. For some, it’s musicianship - these bluegrass cats shred. For others, it’s the songwriting, traditional in style but topical in substance.

Sometimes, they undeniably snare people with the squad factor - folks see 4 grown adults in matching monochrome, and they get curious. The secret, according to Fog Holler, is simply that they write and play bluegrass in 2024, with similar intention but very different context from the genre’s originators.

Inspired by a range of influences from The Stanley Brothers to Buck Owens to Meshuggah, Fog Holler breathes fresh life into well worn forms like the murder ballad and the power waltz.

Described by two-time Grammy Award Winner Cathy Fink as “The next generation of the many shades of grass,” Fog Holler’s captivating tunes and coordinated outfits are quickly enthralling longtime bluegrass fans and newcomers alike.

Fog Holler has spread the joy of the high lonesome sound in the U.S., Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK, and Ireland, and shared stages with The Brothers Comatose, The Del McCoury Band, Jerry Douglas & The Earls of Leicester, Della Mae, The Po’ Ramblin Boys, The Watkins Family Hour, Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands, and more.

Wild Eye is delighted to host Fog Holler's return, with a lively show on our creekside stage! (We'll go inside if the weather says so...)

Sliding scale tickets are $15-$25 per person - you choose how much to pay for your tickets!

So - tickets *start at $15. *But, if you can, please consider adding a few extra dollars to your ticket purchase. This helps us pay this touring band better, so it helps the pub, too. Thank you! xo *************

NOTE: Your name will be on your seats or dining table when you arrive. Seating is prioritized by date of ticket purchase!

About Wild Eye Pub: We're a family-friendly event venue, with a restaurant and bar: farm-to-table foods from local & organic sources, a full bar of regional brews, wines & spirits, and nightly entertainment in a comfy 'supper club' style with an easy vibe.

Reservations are so helpful for us! You can easily make reservations - just seats, or seats and table for dining - while buying your ticket. Your table will be set with your name on it.

For this event, seating/service starts at 6pm, music at 7pm. We offer table service of food and drinks (quietly) before and during the event. If outside, the creek breeze cools off in the evening: layers are good, and we have blankets to share.

Keep your table for the whole show - we don't 'turn over tables' for more meal sales. So, the sliding ticket fee helps us to better pay and feed the band. Thank you for supporting live artists!

DOGS: These creekside shows are usually very busy and sometimes loud. Please do not bring pets to creekside shows without calling ahead.

PARKING: Pub has free parking. More parking is nearby at the corner of Mill & McCourtney, a 2-minute walk. Across from Pub, French Ave has parking. Carpooling is encouraged - our neighbors appreciate it.
