About the event
Three Times Through is a quartet that delights in blending traditional Celtic tunes with recognizable contemporary melodies; from the Harry Potter theme to Light My Fire, Jump, Star Wars and beyond! They grab the attention of folks who may never notice Celtic music: “Did you just mash-up the Rolling Stones with an Irish jig?”
The group began playing together in Southern California under the name Blackthorn, before reuniting in Nevada County under the name Three Times Through. Voted 4x by Union readers as "Best Band in Nevada County," their mashups have been turning heads for over 16 years as they share their love of Celtic music. TTT members are: Jeff Peach - Irish bouzouki, bodhran, hammer dulcimer, vocals; Gale Peach - Fiddle; Greg Mirken - Concertina, mandolin; and Margie Mirken - guitar, vocals, banjo.
