About the event
The Groove Poets - Larry John McNally and Andrew Kastner collaborated on their first song in 1975. That song was recorded by New Orleans fav, Aaron Neville. Since that time they both have had very successful music careers. Larry has written songs for many A-list recording artists, as well as releasing solo records and performing all over the globe. Andrew, who has also had a successful song writing career went on to start LA’s legendary soul horn band Jack Mack and the Heart Attack.
Together and individually, they have written songs for The Eagles, Don Henley, Aaron Neville, Bonnie Raitt, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, Chaka Kahn, Nicolette Larson, The Staple Singers, Barry White and others.. You can also hear their songs in many Films and TV shows such as Clint Eastwood's film, "Richard Jewell”, Police Academy, the HBO TV series Treme, and no less than 100 others.

For this event, doors open 30 minutes in advance for our shaded creekside seating and dining. Call for details. You may keep your seats for the entire event. Thank you for supporting performing artists!
This event is presented on our shady creekside stage, supper club style. Tableside dining and beverage service is offered throughout the event. The creek breeze cools off in the evening: layers are recommended, and we have fresh blankets to share.
