About the event

Wild Eye is excited to host Witch Dick and Friends, bringing a night of fun, poppy, spirited lady-fronted bands to this summer's Creekside Sundays concert series.

Astronaut Ice Cream is an Electro-Disco-Pop Duo from Chico, CA that has been sent to get the crowd to Blast Off! Its members Heather and Kirt do it all: write, produce, perform, choreograph, promote, and eat the snacks. Inspired by pop acts from Cyndi Lauper to Robyn to The Cardigans, they are writing the songs you’ll soon be singing.

Chaos Fiction is a Post Punk/ psyche rock trio from SF, CA. Linda Moody, guitar/vox and Tori Fulkerson-Jones, bass, began playing together in "Excuses For Skipping" and Fleetwood Macrame (Fleetwood Mac tribute) in 2016. Quarantining together during covid times, they wrote a bunch of songs and this new band was formed. Steve Landey jumps in on drums in early 2023.

Witch Dick is the two-headed brainchild of Annie Kendall and Sasha Soukup. The two friends bonded over their mutual love of 60s garage rock and alternative guitar noise. They had been weaving their guitars together for a few years when they were finally offered a live gig at a local Christmas pageant. Annie and Sasha drafted their partners Harry Collins (bass) and Chris Streng (drums) for their rhythm section and together they started playing a steady stream of outdoor music festivals and pool parties. The group recorded a wild Christmas album (Christmas Puddin’ vol 2) in 2023 and are heading into the studio for a full length album this year.  Fans of the Muffs, PJ Harvey and Television will be turned on by their witchy, mystical vibes.

BONUS: Beautiful, original art by the fine artists at the nonprofit Neighborhood Center of the Arts will be displayed inside tonight! Some pieces include the Pub's ‘eyeball’ theme! All art sales support the vital services of the wonderful community treasure that is NCA.

About Wild Eye Pub:

We're a family-friendly event venue, with a restaurant and bar. We make farm-to-table foods from local & organic sources, and a full bar with regional brews, wines & spirits, with nightly entertainment in a comfy 'supper club' style with an easy vibe.

Reservations are so helpful for us! Your table will be all set with your name on it. You can easily make reservations - just seats, or seats and table for dining - while buying your ticket.

For this event, seating and service starts at 5:15; show is at 6:30. Table service of food and drinks is offered before and during the event. We'll be out on our shady, creekside stage. The creek breeze cools off in the evening: layers are good, and we have blankets to share. (NOTE: high heat will move this event indoors).

We don't turn over tables for more sales. You can keep your table for the whole event. So, the sliding ticket fee helps us to better pay and feed the bands. Thank you for supporting live artists!

***DOGS: These creekside shows are often very busy. Please do NOT bring pets to creekside shows without talking to the venue ahead of time.     Call: 530-446-6668***

PARKING: Pub has free private parking. More parking is nearby at the corner of Mill & McCourtney, a 2-minute walk. Across from the Pub, French Ave has parking. Carpooling is encouraged - our neighbors appreciate it!
